Web Content & Social Media Coordinator
Gestalt New York is a furniture store and supplier with a showroom in Hudson, upstate New York, and a collection that includes some of the most exciting and forward-thinking brands from Scandinavia, Japan and Australia. We work on an extensive range of projects throughout the US including residential, hospitality and commercial, and our ambition is to offer the best in design with unparalleled service and knowledge.
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Content & Social Media Coordinator to help manage our digital presence on a part-time, freelance basis. The ideal candidate is confident across both Squarespace and Shopify, has a strong eye for design, and feels at home in the world of interiors and considered objects.
This is a remote-friendly position of approximately 10–15 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Build and maintain product pages across our Squarespace and Shopify sites, including imagery, copy, specifications and pricing.
* Upload new collections and brand content as we bring on new lines.
* Manage general site updates including banners, navigation and landing pages.
* Apply basic SEO formatting across product and content pages.
* Provide light copyediting on product descriptions to ensure consistency with brand voice.
* Support our Instagram and Pinterest presence, including scheduling posts and writing captions.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience managing product pages in both Squarespace and Shopify.
* A strong visual eye and sensitivity to brand aesthetics.
* Knowledge and genuine interest in design, interiors or the luxury lifestyle space.
* Ability to work independently and manage turnaround times reliably.
* Excellent written communication skills with an understanding of quiet, editorial brand voice.
