Designed by Stephen Burks in 2015, the Babel T pendant collection evokes both African totems and Brutalist architecture through striking geometric modular forms. Each pendant comprises cylindrical aluminum structures of varying heights and diameters, lacquered in black or golden finishes, creating sculptural compositions that can be configured in multiple arrangements. The central LED strip emits warm ambient light through an acrylic diffuser, while a secondary LED module at the base provides direct illumination. Available in three sizes ranging from intimate to monumental, these pendants create dramatic focal points above dining tables, in entryways, and throughout contemporary interiors. The modular design allows colors and structures to be combined and inverted for truly customized installations.
