The Emily Group of Three is a German Design Award-winning chandelier by Berlin studio Moss Objects, comprising three handmade sheet steel shades suspended from a waxed oak bar. Inspired by Andreas Gursky's James Bond Islands series — digitally composed landforms that appear to float above a flat horizon — the Emily translates that same sense of quiet tension into a floating landscape of light. Each shade is individually cut, bent, formed, TIG-welded, and hand-sanded by skilled craftsmen in Berlin using 1mm thick steel, a material chosen for its structural integrity and the way it evolves over time. The result is a fixture of rare sculptural presence, equally at home above a dining table or anchoring a larger interior composition. Available in anthracite semi-matte, white semi-matte, black high gloss, gold, copper, and dark bronze finishes, with custom colors available on request.
