The Emily Group of Seven is the most monumental expression of the Emily series by Berlin studio Moss Objects — a German Design Award-winning chandelier that transforms a ceiling into a skyline. Seven individually handmade sheet steel shades are arranged in a mobile-like composition around a sculptural waxed oak frame, their organic, pyramidal silhouettes suspended at varying heights to conjure a floating landscape of light across an interior. Spanning approximately 88.6" wide by 67" deep, this is a fixture conceived for spaces that can hold it — double-height rooms, grand dining halls, hotel lobbies, and architecturally ambitious interiors. As with every piece in the Emily series, each shade is hand-cut, bent, formed, TIG-welded, and sanded by craftsmen in Berlin using 1mm thick steel, a process that gives each shade its distinctly natural, organic geometry. The Group of Seven is available in anthracite semi-matte, white semi-matte, black high gloss, satin brass, and oxidized steel finishes, with custom colors available on request.
