The Emily Group of Nine is the ultimate architectural statement in the Emily series by Berlin studio Moss Objects — a German Design Award-winning chandelier of extraordinary scale and presence. Nine individually handmade sheet steel shades are arranged in a sweeping, mobile-like composition around a sculptural waxed oak frame, their organic pyramidal silhouettes suspended at staggered heights to create a breathtaking landscape of light. Spanning 109.5" wide by 61" deep, this is a fixture that defines a room entirely — designed for grand residential interiors, hospitality projects, and landmark commercial spaces where lighting needs to function as architecture. Each shade is hand-cut, bent, formed, TIG-welded, and sanded by craftsmen in Berlin using 1mm thick steel, and in the high gloss version the metal is lacquered in up to ten layers — a process borrowed from high-end piano finishing — delivering an extraordinarily deep, mirror-like surface. Available in anthracite semi-matte, white semi-matte, black high gloss, satin brass, and oxidized steel finishes, with custom colors available on request.
