The Platô Rug is a large circular form hand-woven in Portugal from a combination of New Zealand wool and fine New Zealand wool. Designed by Gabriel Tan Studio for ORIGIN MADE, its circular silhouette and material density make it as much an object as a floor covering — one that anchors a seating arrangement or defines a zone within a larger interior without the rectilinear logic of a conventional rug. The two-weight wool construction gives the surface a subtle tactile variation that shifts under different light conditions.
