In a reinterpretation of the Veng Bed Frame, a new fabric from Danish textile-manufacturer Kvadrat is introduced. Created by the award-winning textile designer Margrethe Odgaard, the Re-wool is characterized by its patterns of colored stitchings on a darker base, creating a quietly shimmering effect. The edition is conceived in three subtle colors, chosen from a curation of vintage influence.
“The Re-wool textile is created with a sustainable, zero-waste philosophy in mind, as nearly half of the textile consists of leftover wool. The value of this fine material should not go to waste, and so through careful design, the wool is instead upcycled within the production cycle, and presents an opportunity to minimize our environmental footprint.”
