Ahti Taskinen designed the Rento series in 1971 around a single image: sitting on a stack of logs. The sofa extends the armchair’s heavy, rounded timber members into a three-seat form, softened by deep upholstery and leather arm straps. Fasetti has returned it to production faithful to the original model. It is a piece of Finnish design history that reads as clearly now as it did fifty years ago.
