Originally designed in 1966, the Samsas Rund Sofa is a unique example of Swedish designer Carl Malmsten's playful genius. Created late in his life, Samsas Rund reflected his lifelong dedication to creating timeless, refined seating. As part of the Samsas series, this sofa evolved from his earlier Konsert chair created for the Stockholm Concert Hall in 1923 and embodies his philosophy of thoughtful refinement and "slow ripening".
