The Tangent Table by Danish designer Anne Boysen for dk3 balances form, function and craftsmanship in a modern yet timeless design. Available in rectangular and round versions, each features a unique base and asymmetrical tabletop. Built entirely from tangential arcs that flow seamlessly together, it creates a sculptural whole with subtle asymmetry. The solid wood tabletop has a calm, refined look, while curved edges add a light, floating expression. The base contrasts a gently curved disc with a sturdy, monolithic volume, both crafted from solid wood with softly rounded feet. Together they create visual tension that shifts with viewing angle—like a sculpture.
The rectangular version extends with leaves at each end, accommodating three extra seats while maintaining harmonious expression. Available in six sizes, the table shows meticulous attention to detail and materiality, creating a timeless design that invites exploration and encourages both connection and sensory experience.
